1. Section 468 of the CRPC specifies that no court shall take cognisance of an offence after the expiry of the period of limitation .
   सीआरपीसी की धारा 468 के मुताबिक , कोई अदालत समय सीमा बीत जाने के बाद अपराध का संज्ञान नहीं लेगी .
2. The designated court may take cognisance of any offence , without the accused being committed to it for trial , upon receiving a complaint of facts which constitute such offence or upon a police report of such facts .
   अभिहित न्यायालय ऐसे तथ्यों की शिकायत मिलने पर जिनमें उक़्त प्रकार के अपराध गठित होते हों या ऐसे तथ्यों के बारे में पुलिस की रिपोर्ट मिलने पर , ऐसे किसी अपराध का संज्ञान कर सकता है , चाहे अभियुक़्त को विचारण के लिए उसे सुपुर्द न किया गया हो .
